SERVICE ACCOUNT CLERK [Malaysia]


 

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide other clerical support necessary to pay the obligations of the organization
  • Maintain meticulous records of outstanding payables
  • Ensure the accuracy of an organization’s financial documents for payment, auditing and tax purposes
  • Review invoices to be completed for payment
  • Maintain copies of vouchers, invoices or correspondence necessary for files
  • Obtain proper information and/or data regarding invoice payments . Check vendor files for any previous payments and assign voucher numbers
  • Prepare vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor name, item description, amounts and coding per accounting policies and procedures
  • Reconcile bank statements
  • Input daily bookkeeping and record keeping
  • Verify invoices against purchase orders and ensure goods or services were received before issuing payment to vendors
  • Know how to make payments online and know how to use bank security tokens.

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess diploma / in Accounting or Business Administration or related field.
  • Preferably candidates who has 2- 3 years accounting working experience.
  • Required language: English, Bahasa Malaysia. It is a bonus if you could speak & write in Mandarin language as sometimes required to deal with external stakeholders.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month

  • Account Clerk: 3 years (Preferred)
