A Commercial Finance Analyst is responsible for gathering financial and commercial data and providing assessments and analysis of the data for commercial insights. This position is a contact point between Finance and Commercial teams to assist in driving the positive financial business performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with Sales Ops + Accounting team to track sales performance including Volume and Operational KPI
- Calculate monthly Incentive for Commercial teams, Branch Operations, Customer Services, and Lab Operation team.
- Compare actual performance with target KPI and do gap analysis
- Collaborate with data team to ensure KPI visibility on BI tools for commercial purposes
Pricing control: 30%
- Benchmark to update price from competitors and price setting process
- Price revision for all product categories and announce to relevant teams
- Coordinate with Supply Finance & Other functions to update cost drivers for pricing model on monthly/quarterly basis
- Control category mapping and product visualization on BI tools
Ad-hoc tasks: 20%
- Support in launching new products
- Support in forecast planning and cascading to commercial teams
- Support in deal & contract approval
- Track promotion and campaign effectiveness
- Support to provide reporting visibility
- Other financial analysis assigned by FP&A Manager or Head of Finance
REQUIREMENTS
- Less than 2years of experience in Finance position.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required.
- Proactive and can-do mindset. Commercial mindset is an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
