An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Operator – Packaging (Level I) backshift to join our well-established medical device company located in Livingston, Scotland. Initially offered as agency positions, with the possibility of permanent employment. The company has recently experienced a period of growth and requires a talented individual to contribute to the continued success of the business.
Responsibilities:
· Carry out packing procedures in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures
· Accurately complete all batch record documentation in accordance with GDP and GMP principles.
· Immediately report faults/equipment downtime within the functional area to the immediate supervisor in a timely manner.
· Clear and concise communication of all non-conformities or other quality-related issues to the immediate supervisor and/or quality assurance department.
· Ensure that the work area is kept clean and tidy at all times and that all required tools and resources are available within the functional area.
Attributes:
· The candidate must be numerate and literate with a keen eye for detail
· Able to gown appropriately
· Have excellent organisational skills
· The ability to work under pressure
· Motivated to learn and excel within the role.
